Who we are
APIName is an ICANN accredited registrar for all gTLDs (Generic Top Level Domains), covering .com, .net, .org, and the nTLDs (.club, .berlin, etc.) as well as over 80 ccTLDs (Country Code Top Level Domains). The executive management and senior managers are active participants in promoting and growing the domain industry. Representatives of APIName attend many industry events throughout the year including important ICANN meetings that cover the governance of the industry as well as other Tech conferences that can benefit the industry as well as educate the employees.
Registrar Accreditations
APIName LTD proudly obtained ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) accreditation in November 2011. Headquartered in Marina Del Rey, California, USA, ICANN is a non-profit corporation that was created in 1998 to oversee a number of Internet-related tasks including the management and the assignment of domain names and IP-Addresses through accredited registrars such as APIName.
Memberships
APIname is a member of RIPE for the allocation of IP addresses in Turkey. Having our own IPv4 block of addresses gives us the ability to move IPs between datacenters meaning if APIname ever has to move into different facilities in the World. The company remains independent and under the control of its founders who are careful to preserve the values and commitments that have made its successful.
